The story of how a movie scene became a mission

There's this scene in Iron Man that stuck with me.

Tony Stark is in his workshop, holographic blueprints floating around him. He grabs a 3D model of his suit, spins it, zooms into a component, asks JARVIS to run a simulation. The AI highlights problems and suggests fixes, all in real-time.

I thought: "This is how we should build software."

"What if we could see our code like Tony sees his suits? Reach out and touch our architecture. Navigate dependencies layer by layer. Have an AI that actually gets our codebase."

That idea stayed with me for years. Every time I got lost in a massive codebase, jumping between files, trying to trace dependencies, building mental maps that fell apart the moment I switched context, I'd think about that scene.

Then Apple Vision Pro came out. The hardware finally existed. Spatial computing was real. AI had gone from autocomplete to actual reasoning.

The pieces were finally in place.

What We Built

CodeLayers brings that dream to life. Your codebase becomes a 3D space on iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro. Code is organized into stacked layers. Dependencies become visible lines. Understanding comes from exploring.

We added AI agents that answer questions about your code. Point at a function. Ask "what calls this?" or "why does this exist?" Get real, contextual answers.

Your code is encrypted before it leaves your machine. Zero-knowledge design. We can't see your source code. Only you hold the keys.

Why We're Doing This

Developers deserve better tools. Not just faster IDEs or smarter autocomplete. Fundamentally better ways to understand the systems we build.

The future Tony Stark showed us isn't fiction anymore. We can interact with code in 3D. We can have AI that understands our systems. We can build the way we always imagined.

This is just the beginning.
